These were taken in April 2011. The furniture store moved. The store fronts are being renovated. I dug these photos up last night, when unable to sleep. The street changes from year to year. One could go back to the above locations. They won't look like in the photos.

Here's Cote des Neiges, taken during autumn 2011. I enjoy the hospital complex, which begins at the level of Van Horne and extends up towards Queen Mary, one medical building after another.

Now I'm going out for coffee and to contemplate the mystery of my self. What exactly is this self all about? How did such a phenomena occur? After I'll go look at more windows. Stay tuned for more.

One of the benefits of living in a city, such as Montreal, is the vast array of windows. Windows enthusiasts won't be disappointed in Cote des Neiges. The hospital is at the center of a mandala of windows spreading out in all directions, in buildings both sides of the street. I especially enjoy the hospital windows, the various blinds, air conditioning units during summer, plain appearance in winter, reflection of trees and sky. This pictures is from about three weeks ago, when a friend cleaned up his apartment before moving to a new apartment in another neighbourhood.  It's exhausting, so many details, so much junk collected over the years, to toss in the trash, give away or sell at a garage sale.

Church of Coffee

Almost every morning I go out for coffee. It's fun to sit down to a cup of coffee and exchange friendly vibes with the other people who come there for coffee and something to eat. It's getting increasingly difficult to find a cheap cup of coffee. I can't afford to go to regular cafes anymore. However, the fast food joints are still affordable. This morning, I made coffee at home and drank it in the back yard.
